APPLICATION MODERNIZATION CLOUD-NATIVE & PLATFORM SYSTEMS AUTOMATION VIRTUALIZATION Get in touch!# About me
I’m a Systems Engineer focused on application modernization, with a strong background in software development and Linux-based infrastructure. I work at the intersection of systems reliability and developer experience, building platforms that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and maintainable. Recently, I’ve been building distributed web applications using Elixir and the Phoenix Framework, while also working extensively with Linux, Kubernetes, and Ansible to design and operate production systems.
# Focus Areas
-
Software DevelopmentWeb & Mobile Apps
I build backend-focused web applications with an emphasis on correctness, scalability, and maintainability. My work includes designing APIs, implementing business logic, and integrating systems, with experience building fault-tolerant services using Elixir and the Phoenix Framework.
-
InfrastructurePlatform Systems / Public & Private Clouds
I design, operate, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure supporting production workloads. My experience includes working with Kubernetes to deploy and scale applications, managing cloud and on-prem environments, and ensuring reliability through monitoring, automation, and sound operational practices.
-
AutomationCI-CD Pipelines / IT Automation / IAC
I automate infrastructure and deployment workflows to reduce manual work and improve consistency. This includes building CI/CD pipelines, provisioning systems with Ansible, and codifying infrastructure to enable repeatable, reliable environments across development and production.
# Main tech stack
Elixir
Dynamic, functional programming language for building scalable and maintainable applications.
Kubernetes
Container orchestration platform that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
Azure
Microsoft's cloud computing platform, offering over 200 services for building, running, and managing applications and services across various clouds, on-premises, and at the edge.
Ansible
Open source IT automation engine that automates provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, orchestration, and many other IT processes.
Linux
Free, open-source, Unix-like operating system (OS) kernel that forms the foundation for various complete operating systems used across servers, desktops, mobile devices, and supercomputers.
Phoenix Framework
High-performance, scalable web development framework for the Elixir programming language, known for combining developer productivity with exceptional speed, running on the robust Erlang VM for concurrency.
